
Community Involvement
InScope and its employees are not just committed to providing clients and partners with desired industry solutions, we are deeply involved in giving back to our community. We believe that our actions provide personal growth as well as enrich those communities and others around us. Giving back is part of InScope's culture and core values, and has quickly become a popular and appreciated tradition. | Ambleside Schools International InScope’s CEO, Mike Bruce sits on the Advisory Board of the Ambleside Schools International, an affiliation of private schools devoted to the method of English educator Charlotte Mason, and is Chairman of the Ambleside School of Herndon. |

BDPA is a national organization focused on providing professional and technical development opportunities to minorities in the information technology field. Founded in 1975, BDPA maintains over 55 chapters throughout the United States and thousands of members. |

| Carnegie Mellon Advisory Council InScope's CEO, Mike Bruce, is a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Council at Carnegie Mellon University, one of the nation’s premier engineering schools. The Advisory Council consists of alumni spanning the College's five-decade history and provides guidance and feedback on strategic planning and development. |

DC Central Kitchen InScope employees joined the staff and other volunteers at DC Central Kitchen to help prepare 4,000 meals in a single day. DC Central Kitchen was formed in 1989 to provide training, jobs, and nourishment to underserved populations in the metropolitan DC area. |
| SECAF InScope’s CEO, Mike Bruce, is a Board member and Chair of the Legislative and Advocacy committee for SECAF (Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum). The Board consists of entrepreneurs and business executives and provides the government contracting community with the education, resources, and research necessary to ensure success and equal access to contracting opportunities. |

Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council InScope is an active member of the Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council, involved in its efforts to expand business opportunities for minority-owned companies. In 2007 InScope was a Platinum Sponsor for its Virginia Business Opportunity Fair, the largest supplier diversity conference on the East Coast. |
| Year Up Washington DC InScope is a founding partner in the Washington DC chapter of Year Up. Year Up is a one-year, intensive training program that provides urban young adults 18-24, with a unique combination of technical and professional skills, college credits, and a paid corporate apprenticeship. |
