Scott McCrae
Vice President, Operations

Scott McCrae is InScope’s Vice President of Operations, responsible for the firm's solution delivery, account management, and recruiting functions.

Prior to his role with InScope, Scott was the Chief Operating Officer of Intelix, a commercial IT Solutions consultancy that he co-founded in 1998. A motivating and trusted leader, Scott was instrumental in expanding the company’s client base and revenues by over 100% annually, helping place Intelix 19th on the 2002 Washington Techway Fast50 list of technology companies and 10th on the 2003 Virginia Fantastic 50 list. Scott successfully negotiated and managed the sale and transition of Intelix to a publicly traded IT Solutions consultancy in 2003.

Prior to joining Intelix, Scott was the Director of Internet Services for Interealty Corp., where he was responsible for pioneering and leading the company’s pursuit and delivery of Internet technologies and services to the real estate industry. He has held both management and technical leadership positions at Planning Research Corporation, REIC (a joint venture between PRC and the Chicago Tribune) and Interealty.

Scott holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He is married, has three children, and currently lives in Potomac Falls, Virginia. Active in his community, Scott is a youth leader in his church, a coach for Odyssey of the Mind and First Lego League teams in the elementary school, and a Gymnastics team coach.
