Quality Assurance
With our proven history in assisting clients to improve and automate business processes, InScope is committed to continued use of quality control standards and continuous process improvement. The appropriate quality control standard for information system development is the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Systems Engineering and Software Engineering (SE/SW). The CMMI approach has become the global, de facto standard for appraising and improving software processes. InScope earned a CMMI Level 2 maturity rating using the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) method for executing the appraisal.
Using CMMI as a basis, InScope developed our proprietary Fusion methodology. This provides our clients with a standard, proven approach to their challenges, enabling our teams to deliver high quality, repeatable solutions. Fusion combines federal and commercial best practices, resulting in cost benefits, enhanced schedule management and control, improved quality in products and services, and greater customer satisfaction. InScope has employed Fusion on successful projects in both government and commercial engagements.
Field-tested and proven, InScope managers employ Fusion in accordance with best practices as defined by the Project management Institute (PMI). By employing a company-wide methodology, and practicing continuous process improvement, we learn from each project and incorporate lessons learned back into the Fusion methodology and tools.
In addition to providing a proven project management framework, InScope has integrated Fusion into all aspects of our system design, development and implementation approach. Our engineers and managers use the Fusion framework to identify innovative solutions for clients, tailoring the processes and procedures for each project. InScope has mapped Fusion closely to industry-standard development lifecycles including Rational Unified Process (RUP), ensuring a complete, efficient, effective implementation process in any environment. InScope employs enhanced measurement and analysis activities that support earned value management and performance-based measurement as a part of our overall methodology.
