Stephen Masten
Managing Director, Financial Services

Stephen brings more than 10 years of financial services experience to InScope and is responsible for the company’s financial services consulting practices in both the commercial and government sectors. He has extensive experience leading large-scale implementations and engagements involving our Financial Services 5 centers of excellence: Capital Markets, Controls and Governance, Corporate Strategy and Execution, Financial Analytics Service Team and Corporate Finance.

Before joining InScope Solutions, Stephen was the CEO of Allegiance Advisory Group, a financial service and system integration firm in Reston, Virginia. His prior experience includes leading an investment and capital markets front and middle office team responsible for the mortgage strategy and investment process of transactional activity required to support numerous asset classes in mortgage investments and structuring, debt and derivatives, asset and liability management, cash window, integrated bid and mortgage funding. Stephen specializes in managing large-scale business process redesign and system implementations supporting reporting, new products, accounting policies and the internal control frameworks for large financial institutions. Throughout his career, he has played active and key roles in management for the front, middle, and back offices by “bridging the gap” in transaction analysis and execution, data management, risk measurement and reporting, payment and servicing and operational accounting.

Stephen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from The George Washington University.
