Steve Conner
Director, Optimized Computing

Steve is Director of InScope’s Optimized Computing Solutions practice, where he is responsible for projects involving enterprise engineering, network engineering, information assurance, security, and messaging and collaboration. As senior director of Professional Services at Exodus Communications, Steve was responsible for all aspects of delivery, sales, staff management, and profit and loss management for the Washington, DC, branch of the company. He grew the staff from two to 85 and managed the delivery of design, architecture, and outsourcing services which grew to more than $15 million in annual revenue. Following his tenure at Exodus, Steve became CTO of Absulon Technology Partners, where he was responsible for creating the company’s IT infrastructure offerings focused on delivery services to the federal government.

Steve has served a wide variety of clients including Merrill Lynch, American Greetings, Bank of America, BET, American Management Systems, and Marriott, and he has developed enterprise-level infrastructure and security solutions for the Department of Navy, the Department of Army, the Small Business Administration, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Steve is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and an Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP). He holds a MS in Computer Science from George Mason University, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Richmond.
